The Medford Group is part of the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. We combine first-principles methods, machine learning, and statistical mechanics to understand and design catalytic materials.
Our work spans from fundamental surface science to data-driven discovery of new catalysts for energy conversion, chemical synthesis, and environmental remediation.
